Butterfly is a lizard with a history of trauma to his pelvis and no use of his back legs and tail. Acupuncture is great for these cases where nerves are weak or injured. Laser and aqua puncture with vitamin B12 to help rebuild the nerves and reduce swelling and inflammation was very helpful for this lizard. Using Korean hand needles on the acupuncture points, after one treatment his reflexes improved and now he can move the tip of his tail. After each treatment I want to move the needle on the tail further down just past where he can feel. Acupuncture is so essential in these cases. We have also used homeopathics for him too.

Butterfly loves acupuncture like most reptiles; they are tapped into their endogenous pain fighting chemicals.
