Whole Nutrition

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
– Hippocrates

Nutrition is paramount in the world of holistic veterinary medicine, and the most valuable preventive medicine you can provide your pet. Animals who are consistently fed a nutritionally balanced diet of whole, live, bioavailable foods can avoid many diseases and behavioral issues that often plague kibble-fed pets. Increasing nutrition levels alone can cure many degenerative diseases.

Many people often think backwards in terms of the cost of feeding whole foods versus processed pet foods. While the cost of feeding homemade raw, or cooked meals may be a bit more expensive than a bag of kibble – it greatly reduces costly veterinary visits associated with chronic health issues commonly seen in kibble-fed pets.

My goal is to provide you with suggestions that can be easily incorporated into your pet’s current diet, or help you transition your pet to healthier homemade foods altogether.
