Chronic Diseases

Chronic disease is a disease or condition that has a prolonged duration, and can be difficult to manage or cure with Western veterinary medicine. There are many chronic diseases afflicting pets today, and the causes of onset can vary widely. Some causes include hereditary/congenital conditions, exposure to allergens or toxins, old injuries, advancing age, or in response to another condition(s).

The use of holistic veterinary medicine is well suited in healing chronic disease. It’s a gentle, noninvasive process of using low side-effect methods that support the animal’s vital force, and ultimately provides a better quality of life. One of the biggest problems with the philosophy of Western veterinary medicine is that it often goes contrary to this innate healing, and even worse, disrupts it and creates new problems, especially in the case of chronic disease. There’s magic within the body’s own vital force. When we use supplements, herbs, acupuncture and chiropractic treatments to harness and awaken it, all types of healing can occur!
